"My Name is David Hedrick and I would like to share my experience with Kimble's Construction. My house in Lucerne was burned down partially by squatters. Code enforcement was demanding that I get the dangerous structure removed or I would lose my property. I called several contractors and finally found Ryan Kimble. Disposing of this waste is not cheap, ergo I didn't have the whole payment upfront. This man has a kind soul and was willing to work with me on payments. He understood my situation and showed empathy. I gave what I could for a down payment and I'm paying the rest off monthly. His work is professional and he got the job done within the required time limit. I was running out of time, but he was able to schedule it in for me. I know there are a lot of contractors out there, but to actually find one that not only has the knowledge, good work ethics, compassion, empathy and is reliable on top of it, is really rare in my opinion!! "We lost our home in the Clayton Fire in Lower Lake in the summer of 2016. We were hoping for a fast track to get it rebuilt and get out of a temporary rental in a nearby town. The process of permits and cleanup and drawings took some time. About the time I got the permits, Kimble's Construction was doing some deck work at a neighbor's house and the quality looked good. I got a quote from him right away including the payment schedules for the entire rebuild. We were all in line and it was within my budget. We hired them right away and the work began right away. I had a lot of paperwork tracking with my insurance company and Ryan kept up ASAP with accurate and trustworthy numbers which I submitted to my insurance, none were questionable nor were questioned. The process was a contract dream come true, never any issues or overlooks or change orders at all. We hired a solar company to put a huge array on our roof, a separate contract than that with Kimble's Construction, and Ryan collaborated smoothly with the outside contractor. The quality of the work in place in our little home was that found in large custom homes, but without the large cost. We love our home and were back living in it in 2017, one of the first on our street to move back in after the fire. I can not think of any time where a call back for an issue with the house occurred to date (2025). Thanks Ryan and we hope the best to you and your clients on all projects going forward."
